I’m slipping into winter with this satin slip dress. I’m partial to satin, it feels so good on my skin. It’s a look that can be year round if you do it right. Here’s my take on bring a summer dress into the next season,
I added a satin top with this interesting print and banded collar. I didn’t wear a necklace – the blouse has enough going with all the color and pattern. I added the blazer-type duster I’ve had for a couple of years. I like the 3/4 sleeves, so you can see the print on the blouse sleeves. I finished the outfit with these fun fishnet socks and nude booties. I think nude colored booties for winter are great for elongating your legs, just like a pair of nude pumps.
I think this is actually a wonderful way to get so much more wear out of your dresses. Grab a summer dress and throw a top underneath it and give it a twirl! There are no rules when you love what you’re wearing!
