Red is a color that I’m really crazy about. This color is the “Hottest Color for Fall 2017.” If you don’t believe me type that in on your computer and watch what comes up. It’s also a color I believe everyone can wear. This time of year with all the wonderful holidays fast approaching, red should be a color that you can embrace too. It screams festivities and fun. The leaves turn many shades of reddish colors as we get near Thanksgiving. People associate Red and Green with Christmas. So red is blazing all around us this time of year, and your wardrobe can blaze as well.
I’ve chosen to wear all red or monochromatic, which means “one color”. You can also wear the same color in a variety of shades, and that is monochromatic as well. When you wear all one color, it’s a great way to appear leaner and taller. It is also very flattering for all body types. So if you have never tried it, give it a go!
Monochromatic is easy to do by simply shopping your closet. The easiest way to shop your closet is to color coordinate it. If you’re not sure where to start, go from light to dark. White, Ivory, yellow, gold, orange, red, purple, blue, green, tan, brown, gray and black. It allows you to know what you have and makes getting ready so much easier.
So my mid-November monochromatic look is red – I love how it looks and how it makes me feel. Pick you favorite color and go for it!
