The Silver Stylist, aka Lisa Hale, received a Master of Cosmetology license in 1980. Her career began in a hair salon and soon moved on to become a makeup artist for Chanel at Lord & Taylor and later for Lancôme. Along the way, she had 4 children, and as she shopped for them, she became a regular at the Gap. So much so that they offered her a job, where stayed for 23 years.
Lisa Hale is a 60-year-old stylist that has been in the fashion industry her whole life by way of hair, makeup, and a professional stylist. Lisa loves sharing how she expresses herself through how she dresses each day, wears her makeup, and styles her hair. In society today, once you hit a certain age, you’re supposed to quietly disappear. She believes it should be just the opposite; it’s a privilege to age and to have lived a full life.
Lisa isn’t ready to retire, she’s ready to reinvent herself. Lisa wants the boundaries of ageism broken, and it is her mission to work with brands that are inclusive of all ages. She wants to encourage everyone to live their best life at every age by learning to embrace and love themselves.

I want them to have fun with style and fashion – and be comfortable with themselves. It’s never too late to reinvent yourself. We used to worry so much about what others thought about us. Now’s the time to be yourself, do what you love, and find ways to encourage and help others.”
