Are you running wild? I mean Thanksgiving is around the corner, literally 1 days from now. I’m running wild and free, no worries here. I’ve even had my second refrigerator (that I depend on, oh so much) go out. Normally I would be freaking out by now! The extra refrigerator really only comes into play for holidays with our household trimmed down by 3 kids. I decided this year though that I was going to stay calm and take things as they come. That means I’m not sweating the little stuff, and I’m going to focus on all the things I have to be thankful for.
I’m also dressing with layers and for comfort. Yes, it’s chilly here, and the best way to deal with going in and out of the chilly weather hauling groceries and holiday shopping is to be able to wear light layers like this soft cotton cashmere scarf and fuzzy pom-pom beanie. When my neck and head are warm, I’m a happy girl. A light, oversized knit sweater and boyfriend denim round out the outfit. Add in the these Adidas trainers for standing in comfort, and my feet were thanking me too. It also allowed me to finish the grocery shopping and start birthday shopping.
I’m running wild and free with a smile on!
My sweet grandson turns one this weekend, then his dad (my son) has a birthday, and to finish off the birthdays before Christmas my sweet hubby turns 60.
There’s a lot to be thankful for!
XO
