Patch Work Street Style

New York has great sights, sounds, smells, and adventures to be had. There’s just something mesmerizing about being a small part of such a big city. There are so many amazing murals throughout the city that it was hard to pick just one to include in this post. This was such a fun colorful patch-work mural that I felt like I had to post it.

I went with a semi-simple look with this red chunky sweater half-tucked into a nice pair of dark-washed denim. The top is simple, but it brings a fun pop with these awesome boots that I had been searching for since before Christmas. I didn’t want to go with a true matching red with the shoe, because I wanted them to contrast. The skinny cropped cut of the denim goes great with the ankle high boots.

I kept it simple with the accessories. The neckline of this sweater doesn’t leave much room for a necklace, so I wore this playful pair of fringe earrings.

I can’t wait to go back and visit this city again. Who doesn’t love New York City?
