Pool Parties and Barbecues

I’m so excited about being able to take my granddaughter to the pool this year. She just finished a swimming class that will help her to float on her back if she were to fall in the pool without her swimmies. She’s actually turning into quite a good swimmer at the young age of three.

I taught all my kids at a very early age how to swim, and they were swimming by two and three as well. We would spend all day at the pool playing and swimming. Kids have so much energy. I would be tired after being out in the sun, so I would want something quick and easy for dinner. We would head home and fire up the grill and cook some wonderful barbecue.

I still like to get together with my friends for a summer pool party and cookout.

The kimono is reversible with two beautiful prints. I pattern mixed it with the pants. I also decided to tie the kimono up in the front to accentuate my waistline.

This beach tote is an easy bag to carry and holds so much. It will also be great to use to take to the pool or any other summertime activity.
