Embellished Denim

I’ve looked around, and to my delight, I’m seeing a lot of embellished denim being worn. If you have followed me for any length of time, you know that denim is one of my favorite things to wear.

I’m really liking the embellished denim, because it takes denim wearing to a whole new level. It’s no longer about the wash and fit of the pant but all the extra little details that make these so interesting. The embellishments are all so different and range from painted floral designs to embroidery, beading, cool patches, sequins, studs, pearls and the list goes on and on. They are no longer just a pair of blue jeans, but an accessory.

The denim I’m wearing today has a culmination of beading, embroidery, and sequins.

I am so very fond of all the little details! So you may ask, what makes this pair so special? Well, let me tell you. They are a really nice blue tone which is not too dark and not too light. This denim will be a wonderful pair to wear all year round, not only because of the color but the weight as well. They also have a bit of stretch, and that makes it easy to bend and move in these beauties.

It’s also a super pair to wear to the office on Casual Friday. I wore this with a light blue damask print button up with this cute polka dot pattern. Then I added a pop of color with this mustard colored blazer and strapped sandals. This lovely hammered statement necklace finishes the look.

On the weekend, if I decided to wear this pair of denim again, I would wear them rolled up with a simple white tee and my Adidas Stan Smith sneakers.

Embellished denim is an awesome trend in fashion today, and I wear it every chance I get!
