Springing Back

Life is slowly getting back to normal, and I’m so gloriously happy to be able to say that. As everything is greening up around my house, we are getting back to our normal rhythm of life. I’m more thankful for this time of year, more so than ever before. Spring has a new meaning to me.

Before Matt’s heart issues became our focus, work consumed a good bit of my time. And Cabi Clothing had reached out and asked me to look at their spring collection. I was gifted two pieces out of this collection.

This red camisole that has this cool pattern of different types of straw bags printed all over it was my first choice. Who doesn’t love a straw bag this time of year? I sure do! I knew it had to be mine, because I had this round straw bag I’m carrying that matches the one printed on this top perfectly.

The white denim was from last year, but they are back in stock. The same goes for the wedge sandals and jean jacket. Classic pieces like these last year after year.

The second piece I styled was this eyelet cover-up that I decided would make an even cuter dress. Eyelet and lace are on trend right now. These are lightweight fabrics that are easy to wear in warmer weather. The eyelet cover-up has a drawstring at the waistline that can be drawn on either side. I added a pair of slides, a two toned hat, basket bag and this belt with an Aztec type design. It’s an interesting belt to add with the gold and silver pattern that shows up so nicely against the brown leather.

I’m thrilled to have been gifted these pieces from Cabi Clothing to wear as I get back to my new normal. And as always I’d love to hear what you think about these two outfits and Cabi Clothing.
