Wingtip boots are classic in style and can be worn year round. You may be asking yourself “Well, who said that?” well; that would be me.
I’ve been on the hunt for a wingtipped bootie for sometime, because of the fact they are CLASSIC. This shoe is an Oxford or Brogue style shoes, that has toe cap with extensions called “wingtips” which extend along both sides of the shoe; hence giving this shoe its name.
The ones I’m wearing are booties and from “The Office of Angela Scott” they were graciously gifted to me and I couldn’t be more happy with them. The quality is outstanding and the way they are crafted is spectacular. These booties are a wonderful addition that will go with so many things in my closet.
Today, I’ve paired them with this “Who What Wear” dress from Target. This dress caught my eye, because I just loved the flutter sleeves. It’s 100% cotton super easy to wear now and into fall. The cotton fabric has a soft linen like feel. I also like that it has a built-in lining through out that is sown in, which means no slip is needed. It comes with a tie belt, but I decided to go with this cute belt bag instead.
This belt bag is sold out, but I have tagged a couple that I believe will work just as well. I do like wearing a belt bag and not having to worry about keeping up with a bigger bag. It’s nice when I’m with the grand kids and I am hands-free. My sweet grand babies keep me on my toes and that’s just the way I like it.
In keeping with the brass-like hardware on this bag I chose earrings and a necklace that were similar to the brass. I also think that the golden tones in the earrings and necklace warms up this outfit.
I’m hoping everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!
And don’t forget to check out “Who What Wear” line at Target. I’ve been really surprised at how many items I’ve seen and liked that are from this collection this season. They are cute, reasonably price and trendy! And you can’t beat that.
