What’s your passion? I get asked all the time whether fashion, style and make-up are my true passions. Fashion, style, and make-up…. yes, all of these are things that I’ve been involved with my whole life and truly love. These different vocations help me to connect with what I am really passionate about……helping and loving on people. So when those two worlds collide (fashion and helping/ loving others), this truly is my heart. That is one of the reasons that I am so honored to help/collaborate with my friend Martha Tellez and Viviana Fernandez with “From Wayuu To Me”.
From Wayuu to Me works with the Wayuu people in Colombia and Venezuela to bring the best quality South American handmade bags available. This is done for two reasons. One, look how stylish these bags are! And two, by selling these bags, the Wayuu people get needed support from partners who provide crucial food and water.
So I’m truly blessed to have found a great cause that links my passion for people with the fashion background I’ve grown up in and work with today. For me it’s all about giving back and having a heart for people.
