Tying it all together

Hey guys! I’m jumping on here to share with you cabi clothings new arrivals. I’m so thrilled to be an ambassador for this brand. Their fall scoop that I attended here in Nashville back in July was so enlightening. I was especially impressed with the brand’s core beliefs as far as empowering women, giving back to help other women, and the love that they show their cabi girls and stylists.

Their clothes are fast becoming some of my favorite to wear!

These slim boyfriend jeans are the perfect jeans to ease back into. I’ve worn shorts and skirts most of the summer, so the relaxed fit of this denim is loose and comfortable. They have a classic rise that sits just below my waistline. They are slightly distressed, just like a good pair of vintage denim. I think that’s what made me so thrilled when I tried them on, they felt like they were already worn in. This style of denim was made to be worn with a belt, so I paired it with this leopard print belt, known as the “Beast Belt”. If you follow trends in fashion, you know that leopard print is still a hot item this fall season.

This green tee is the “Serenity Tee” and feels more like a pajama shirt. It’s just a free and easy fit v-neck with the softest rayon blend.

I wore a scarf to tie it all together. It is also from cabi, but it was from the Spring/Summer collection. They have a new scarf out for Fall/Winter, and I have linked it below. Scarves are so easy to wear! I wear them around my neck, in my hair, around my wrist (as a bracelet) and on a bag to help bring in more color or texture to an outfit. I also wear them around my waist as a belt too. That’s what is so nice about this scarf, it works in all those areas quite nicely.

Next up is this “Candlelight Blouse” with a bow tie neckline. This blouse is so feminine, and I really think it will look so sexy with a pair of dark black denim or a black leather skirt. I like the length of the bow tie, and I’ll explain why. I decided to wrap the tie around my neck a couple times and then over to the side. It allows you to see more of the cutout below the bow. If I wear it tied just in the front without wrapping it around my neck, the bow looks nice, but it covers up most of the cutout area. I would wear it to the office like that. It’s a little more conservative and more business-like.

I decided to wear this gorgeous blouse with an off-white pair of wide cropped denim. I like how the blouse “pops” against the off-white.

I added a pink belt for extra color and to draw your eye to my waistline. I like my curves, and it’s taken me years to get to this place.

I’m imperfectly perfect.

And that’s me all tied up in one phrase.

XO
