I had a birthday dinner to go to this week. I’m part of a great group of girls who get together for all our birthdays and for holidays and other special occasions. We’ve been doing it for almost 25 years, and it’s just one of my favorite things to do!
I decided to wear this Maxi skirt for our dinner. A colorful maxi skirt can be worn casual or more formal. This skirt is one of many that I have and like to wear during this time of year. It’s so comfortable – I knew I could eat whatever I wanted, since it has such a forgiving waistline. I love the mix of nude pink with blue in the skirt, and I paired it with a short-sleeved button up light denim blouse. I also wore a braided black leather belt with a big brass buckle and a pair of black peep toe platforms.
The birthday party was a smash, and my comfortable outfit helped me enjoy a wonderful time with my group of great girlfriends!
