Easter is right around the corner! And I love everything about it. For me, Easter is a celebration of new life and new beginnings. My favorite part is getting to use this beautiful opportunity to spend time with my favorite people. I love being a Mimi. Getting to watch the traditions we started with our children live on through our grandchildren is such a blessing.
April is a great time to spread positivity to others, and to ourselves. This year I’m finding ways to feel festive every day. I’m celebrating by taking time to reflect on what I’m grateful for. As well as treating each new morning as a fresh opportunity for learning and growth.
Feeling good, and looking good starts from within. My favorite way to punctuate a positive attitude is with an ensemble fit to carry that feeling through anything the day might throw my way. Making a positive declaration with the clothes I choose is an incredibly fun way to keep myself motivated.
Here, I chose this pale yellow jumpsuit from Zara. I love how the shape of the garment reflects the season. Watching the fabric flow as I walk reminds me of fresh spring blossoms billowing in the wind. The black and gold in the shoes and accessories I chose (also from Zara) add a touch of sleek sophistication. I love marrying a soft aesthetic with the classically urban style of streetwear.
In the theme of keeping a positive outlook, I want to encourage you to find your confident zone! For example, I love pulling my hair back. I love the way it complements my face. And the way it almost gives me a facelift! And the style works so well with my outfit by complementing the urban touch of the accessories.

Lisa, love this outfit! I like the clean flowing lines. It’s modern and sleek. The explanation point is having your hair tied back and those earrings. I always try to have yellow in my wardrobe because it’s my husband’s favorite color. Interestingly enough I bought two yellow handbags recently and one was from Zara. My go-to styling habits that keep me feeling positive and confident often come from having something on trend that’s a part of my wardrobe but also choosing pieces that I know are right for me.

I think it’s wonderful your husband’s favorite color is yellow. I find most men like red or blue.
I agree with having a few trendy pieces in your closet each season. Zara always has an interesting array of accessories each season.
I think knowing what works best for you and your body is a wonderful thing. I find that a lot of men and women as we age never revisit what works best. It’s always good to reevaluate where we are at as far as health and fitness every 6 months to a year.
