Summer Scramble

As I’m writing this, I’m trying to balance getting my three-year-old granddaughter ready to take to the pool.

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted on the blog due to my summer schedule. I’m trying to balance this schedule along with my other work and the blog. I will eventually figure it out, although it has been challenging the past couple weeks.

I do know something I wish I’d been able to plug into my summer schedule! Hamilton was playing at the Fox theater. The play was there from May 22 through June 10. I would’ve loved to have gone. Tickets were a bit pricey for our liking. I’m hoping they will go down, and I can catch the play next time I’m in New York.  One of my dear friends had the opportunity to go. Her husband purchased the ticket way in advance of her birthday that was in April. She said it was wonderful, and she would highly recommend the play!

So I’m adding it to my bucket list!

And here’s what I would have worn if I would’ve been able to go here in Atlanta.

This jumpsuit from Free People would be something I would have picked to wear. The pattern details and colors are me, don’t you think? I like the back and how it’s cut out.

I also would have brought a light scarf or a shawl for my shoulders. As my sweet hubs always says, there is about a one degree difference when it comes to my internal thermostat.

I also paired a neutral pair of sandals with this outfit. These sandals are great for the city because they are easy to walk in. Parking is not always convenient downtown, so if you do have to walk, this sandal works best for me. The block heel is a medium height.

The clutch I chose is big enough to carry a small makeup bag, keys and my cell phone.

Perfect, and all you’d need when you’re out for the evening!

I would also appreciate your feedback on certain topics that you would like discussed on the blog. I’ve had several people reach out to me through email asking questions about makeup and hair. As my readers, I would love to know what you all think about all kinds of topics. My heart is to help and encourage others, so that would make it easy for me to help an individual or multiple people that may have the same subject about which they are interested.

I appreciate your patience as I navigate this new season of my life.  It’s a different kind of busy, but I sure do love the interaction I have with old and new friends all over the world.  I can’t wait to hear from you!

XO
