In my world as a stylist you can have a nice clean look, but what takes that look to the next level is how you accessorize it. The necklace you wear, the belt you pick and shoes you pair with an outfit really are key. That goes as well for the glasses you may pick. Whether it’s for a prescription or just to keep the sun out of your eyes, sunglasses are very big in the fashion world.
These accessories can really change the way an outfit looks. For me, I’m quirky when it comes to sunnies. I wear contacts and prescription glasses, so I prefer sunglasses that have a glass lens. I like the clarity I get with glass. I know there are some incredible sunglasses with plastic lens, but I’m such a klutz and have ended up with a lot of glasses with scratches. Weight may factor in as well, so since glass is heavier than plastic, that’s probably one of the reasons that a lot of designers use this type of lens. Whatever your choice maybe sometimes the small things really do make the biggest difference.
