Shifting Gears

I like changing things up! The weather is getting warmer, so I’m pulling out my dresses, shorts and skirts. This shift dress was a great find at Target recently. It reminds me of my childhood. When I saw it, it brought me back to a time when I was younger. Back in those days my mother would do laundry, then spend a whole day ironing everything that needed to be pressed. I have fond memories of playing on the floor and mom ironing in a dress very similar to this. This shift dress is a loose, lightweight cotton blend with a built-in slip, which made it so easy to wear. I also love that it has pockets, one on each side.

I grabbed my Adidas and this red bag for a pop of color!

The best part of the day was being able to shoot with this 1961 Ford Galaxie Starliner. This car was built the same year I was born. They don’t make cars like they used to!
