

















































Exercise has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I just feel better when I’m active. Here of late I’ve also decided to crank it up a notch, because it’s all about keeping up in this fast-paced world. Don’t you feel like time is whizzing by? I sure as heck do! When I’m staying on schedule and exercising on a regular basis, it’s a wonderful stress reliever. Not to mention all the tension that is going on in the U.S in the political arena. It’s been actually great to unleash my frustrations as I work out.
More importantly, studies are showing that people that do a least 30 minutes a day of some form of physical activity are happier. I know I sure am.
Exercise helps me have more energy, it maybe psychological, but hey, I’ll take it!
I have always stretched before I’ve walked or taken a run. Here recently I’ve been incorporating more Yoga into what I’m doing. I also took a wonderful pilates class in town a couple weeks ago. If you live in the Atlanta area you need to check out Club Pilates Toco Hills. The class was wonderful and what a work out! The reformer machines were so easy on my joints along with the light weight training. It made for an exhilarating work-out.
I read sometime back in a health report that people who are more flexible tend to live longer lives.
Finding comfortable work out attire is also huge too. I’ve been paying more attention to giving the girls more support, which in turn helps relieve the tension that can build up in our mid to lower back.
There’s just no down side to being active, and I’m glad I’ve been able to make it an important part of my life. What do you do to keep moving? Ready, set, go…..let me know!
