Playing Dress Up

Don’t you love a dress that works for you all year long? Well, I sure do! So I’m excited to show you this cute little number from Leota Dresses. There are several things that I want to tell you about this line and dress. For starters, the fit is so nice, the dress hangs beautifully. The sweetheart neckline is very different fit from what I normally wear, but I felt comfortable and didn’t feel over exposed. This knit is a good weight to wear alone in warmer weather or would also work well with a cardigan or blazer in cooler weather. The bracelet sleeve is a plus for all of us who wished we’d spent more time in the gym working out our arms. There are several other styles of dresses this print comes in too. For you younger moms, the fact that you can find a similar dress for yourself and your little girls in a classic style with all the above is really awesome. This is great for the holidays and family photos. Speaking of family photos, you get the extra bonus of my sweet little love, Frankie Rae in her “little Leota” as well. I was thrilled when I looked online and saw they had matching Mother/Daughter dresses (or in my case Mimi/Granddaughter dresses). When my children were younger, I dressed them in matching outfits that were not nearly as classic a design as these, and my kids have never let me live it down. I’m hoping and praying Frankie will be okay with the choice I made, as she gets older and looks back at these pictures. I know she was really happy the day we took these, because we matched. This little one is my “Mini Me” in her love of fashion, jewelry and shoes.
