There is something quite comforting about denim, and it’s been my go-to for years. I loved it before I worked for Gap – that’s what drew me to the store in the first place. When my kids were younger, that’s when my appreciation for denim evolved. It was so nice to get up, throw a pair on, and run around after my kids all day and still feel put together. I must remind you this was a time in fashion when the majority of women with small children were living in sweat suits. Now I can honestly say that the majority of my wardrobe is that wonderful fabric. So when we have any type of family function, you’d better believe you’ll find me in denim.
This holiday season was made even more special because it was the first holiday with my sweet grand daughter, Frankie Rae. She has my heart, but denim will always be my old reliable.
