Not Your Typical Pullover & Joggers

Sponsored Post

This is not your typical pullover and joggers. Right? Times have changed for these two articles of clothing. When I was growing up, they were only thought of as clothes to work out in. A pullover and joggers have been able to climb the fashion ladder and come out as quite the fashion duo to be worn through most seasons. And from day to night thanks to the trend of Atleisure wear.

This outfit traveled with me to Greenville, South Carolina a couple months ago. The days were warmer, and the nights were getting chilly back then.

These two pieces from cabi clothing made great travel companions for several reasons.

The joggers are made of a rayon and nylon blend. And the pullover top is made of a cotton/rayon blend which made them simple to pack in my suitcase. There wasn’t any stressing or worry over wrinkling with either of these pieces. Who wants to look like they slept in their clothes? Not me!

During the day (to run around and see this cute city) I pulled out these joggers! I wore them a little differently than the way I’m wearing them here in these pictures. I styled them with a tee and pulled the leg up around my knee. I shortened them to make them more like a capri length. It’s easy to do because of the banding at the ankle. One pair of sneaker/trainers are always packed when I travel. I pulled my sneakers on and laced them up. And off I went to do some exploring through the downtown area of Greenville.

As the afternoon turned into evening, I grabbed this pullover to wear out to dinner. This knit top had my attention when I saw the cool sleeves with the slit and flutter cut out. For those of you who are conscious of not showing your arms, this top is unique in that shows just a little of the top of your arm. I wore the sleeve pushed back on my forearm this day. I like that the sleeves make this top different than any other pullover top in my closet. This shade of purple will also take me through the winter and transition well into the spring. This violet color really looks pretty on everyone I’ve seen it.

I’ve had my fuchsia bag and earrings for a while. I like the pizazz that this bright color brings to this outfit.

And the sandals in leopard add dimension too. Leopard is so trendy now. I have worn this outfit out now that it’s colder and just added a leopard coat. And I do wear sandals in the winter, but for those of you that don’t, leopard pumps would be perfect too.

The grass isn’t green anymore, and maybe this isn’t your typical outfit, but these two pieces are still going strong in my wardrobe through this holiday season, thanks to cabi clothing!
