I love when the sky is clear blue and the sun is shining; it has a way of lifting my spirits, it soothes me. The colors in our world are beautiful! And so it was the day we shot this outfit. The weather was perfect, and today I’m missing that weather. Here in ATL it has gotten cold again, and I’m stubborn. I don’t want to pull out any winter items again. Not going to happen! But I’m writing, remembering that sunny day, praying this chilly front will move on. I want my favorite season back and the temperatures that go with it. So on to my outfit – I’m a big fan of blues and greens.
These particular hues are very flattering on everyone. These colors remind me of spring break at the ocean and beach………, which is one of my happy places to be, with many fond memorize when the kids were all home.
This is a sweater I picked up at the end of summer last year at Anthropologie. It was a great deal! I love the button detailing down the back.
I also like the hemline on my denim… frayed and fringed. These little details make me happy too. We had fun shooting that day. We laughed a lot! Laughter’s good for your soul, like sunshine and blue skies.
