This wonderful hue of mauve is such a calming color to me. It’s also such a soft shade, and it looks great on all skin tones. When I wear all one color, I stand taller, because I feel taller. Monochromatic is very slenderizing. When you wear all one color, it’s great for elongating your body. And it’s one of the simplest ways to dress. It never goes out of style, and the look is timeless. The key to wearing a monochromatic look is texture, which gives an ordinary look an extraordinary flair. This top by Vince has a silk/satin front panel with cashmere sleeves and back, it’s so comfy!

I paired this top with skinny denim that are a little darker color than the top. This denim is from Gap and in a cropped length, which I’m thankful for because we’ve had some hot weather here in Atlanta. WHEW……….
