With Memorial Day just around the corner, I figured it was the perfect time to share my swimwear finds. There are so many cool new options coming out this season from top brands like Lands’ End, Norma Kamali (one of my favs), and Nike. Here are my picks for the top swimwear purchases I recommend this Memorial Day season!

I have many Muslim friends, and I wanted to share some incredible swimsuits that are full coverage. Nike made waves in 2019 when they announced full-coverage swimsuits. Everyone deserves to have fun in the sun!

I know, a lot of you all aren’t comfortable showing a lot of skin at our age. Though I believe that every-body is a bikini body, I get that sometimes you just want to throw on something in your comfort zone and hang out. And that is totally fine too! Just don’t forget that you’re the hottest mama on the block, alright?
Two Piece Suits
I love the look of a structured two piece suit! Here are some fun two piece sets that are functional and don’t hug the waist. Pro tip: Look for swimwear that doesn’t have thread lining, that way it won’t cut into your skin. A lot of brands use a polyester thread that doesn’t offer give rather than a stretchy thread that moves with your body.
Swimming Essentials!
To me, fashion includes the entire look- from head to toe. I’ve included some essentials that you need for going out in the sun this summer. It is SO important that you use SPF every. single. day. I make sure to wear sunscreen with a high SPF whether I’m at the pool or outdoor exercising- I wished I would have realized sooner that the sun is not my friend!
Summer Silver Hair Care
I also try and wear the biggest hat I can find to protect my hair. There are all kinds of products with SPF out now to protect your hair. If you color your hair the sun will fade your color faster than you can blink. I have seen many that have decided to grow their hair out to its natural silver color. Please realize that although the texture of silver hair may be more coarse, it is very fragile. The sun, as well as any heat from hot tools, can be very damaging, so make sure you use products that will shield those silver strands.
I’ve always enjoyed swimming, but now I try to go early or later in the evening to avoid the sun. I hope the weather stays as beautiful as it has been here in Atlanta for the foreseeable future! To be honest, I’ve been daydreaming about going to the beach. Getting up early to watch the sunrise. The early morning walk along the shoreline is so picturesque. Drinks by the pool during Memorial Day Weekend will have to suffice!
