Today, I had all the time I needed to play with my make-up. What else is there to do when you are trying everything you can to stay out of the kitchen.
These days the most exciting thing to do in my house is eat. And while I’m eating one meal, I’m thinking about what I’ll be having for my next.
This is how my extroverted self is struggling to deal with not seeing my family and friends. I miss them, and although I’m grateful for FaceTime, it will never take the place of seeing the ones I love in person.
I’ve tried to stay busy by doing a few projects.
We did get some of the artwork we had purchased hung up in the family room and the kitchen. I was wanting to gather it all up and then decide where to hang everything, but I hadn’t found all the pieces I’m looking for. And then all the stores shut down.
Today’s make-up inspiration is from a piece of artwork that hangs in my kitchen now. I used an eye shadow palette from @nyxcosmetics . I got it sometime last year, and thought I’d use it when I was working on a shoot. It never got used until yesterday. I used the blue shadow in this palette and a touch of gold on my lid. I used an angled liner brush to apply the shadow as my liner. Tight lined my eye with a @marcjacobbeauty pencil in the color “earthquake”. The only other thing I want to mention is that I use two mascaras. Since I’ve been using my lash serum, my lashes have grown really long on the bottom. I use @clinique high impact on my top lashes. And Definicils mascara from @lancomeofficial on the bottom lashes. This mascara doesn’t seem to transfer under my eye like some of the others do. And no, I’m not complaining about having long lashes. I’m thrilled.
Tell me what’s been inspiring you during these times of staying in and working from home?
I’m praying each one of you is safe and well. We’re in this together, and I’m thankful to connect with each of you through social media. Please let me know how you are doing.
