Keepin it Real & Warm in Inman

Today’s look is all about staying warm!

I had a wonderful time the other day as I met up with my photographer to get a couple of outfits shot. We went out to a little area in Atlanta called Inman Park. It’s a cool spot to visit where the murals of local artists are plentiful, and there are a bunch of great little restaurants that serve up their local specialties. Located on the Eastside of Atlanta, this neighborhood was the city’s first planned suburb. It was named after Samuel M. Inman.

My favorite things to wear here of late have been over-sized sweaters with jeans or leggings. To keep my legs extra warm, a pair of over-the-knee boots added nicely to the mix. This pair of suede boots have just the right size heel for walking around downtown.

I added a beanie as the day went on, and the wind picked up. I’m all about the pom-pom on this one. My granddaughter Frankie would say that the color reminds her of the movie Trolls.

My sherpa and suede coat dates back to 2002, when I was working at the Gap. It’s done quite the job of helping me stay toasty for the last 16 years. I’ve found a similar style here.

So thankful that classic style is timeless!
