Do you like color? I know I do. I’ve never been one to shy away from it, in fact a lot of the time I’m all about adding more. You know if one glass of red wine a day is good for you, well, you know 2 or 3 glasses will be tremendous for you. That’s kind of my thought process on color. The more the merrier!
As I’m writing this, I just realized that this dress is SOLD OUT. BOO! I do believe there were a great many others who felt the same way about this dress as I did. It’s a great one for fall!
There are so many ways to style this dress! Who doesn’t love a dress that can pull double or triple duty?
I first purchased this dress for a wedding I was attending. My dear friend, Shahad, was getting married, so I thought this would be a fun and colorful way to dress up to celebrate her and her husband. It was an evening wedding/celebration. It was while the weather was still quite warm, so I wore it minus the leather jacket you see here.
I’ve also worn it on the more casual side with sneakers and an oversized pink blazer. And a bucket bag was added because, well…it carries a lot more items than a clutch bag will. It’s way more practical for me to carry, although I admire the person who can go out with a small bag. I’ve just never been that person.
I’m looking forward to a time I can throw a big chunky black sweater on over this and wear a cool pair of suede boots. I’ll add a backpack I have that is back and tan or maybe carry a smaller pink backpack. The color in this dress will most definitely brighten up a gloomy winter day.
Color brings me joy on gray, gloomy days in the winter.
When I saw this dress, it reminded me of a kaleidoscope with the bright colors as well as the cool pattern. When I was a kid, I could sit for a long time looking through one of these little rascals. I was always amazed at all the intricate patterns and beautiful colors that were created simply by looking through a tiny hole toward the light and turning the end of this cardboard tube. The one I had was full of little colored pebbles. As you turned it, a million different patterns were seen and no two were ever the same.
Big color needs a nice statement piece necklace and an over-the-top pair of hoop earrings.
The competition is steep when it comes to kaleidoscope color.
