The pace at our house has been fast and furious. This time of year can do that to you, but we decided to add in new floors and paint on top of that. It probably wasn’t the smartest idea, but when the pressures on, we rise to the occasion. And that’s what we’ve done, but now the task is to get the house cleaned up and put back together again. As I type this, it might seem like I have it all figured out. I really don’t, but sitting here in a comfortable pair of pajamas with my feet up, watching “Home Alone 2” can do that to you. I’ll deal with getting it all back in order tomorrow.
When the kids were young, new pajamas were handed out on Christmas Eve. Now, when I look back, I was always the one so excited to see them open them up. The kids were less impressed. They did humor me by wearing their adorable pjs on Christmas Day. Oh, the things we as Momma’s deem important at this time of year. Sweet memories for me, much less for the kiddos.
I still get excited about new pajamas! These Cool Nights pajamas from Soma really are the best. This year I wanted a long sleeve set to help me keep toasty warm this holiday season. I chose this paisley pattern, isn’t it pretty? The top size is a small, and in the pants I chose a size large. I prefer my pj pants to be oversized and roomy. That way when I decide to eat an extra piece of pie, comfort is still queen!

I just finished watching “Home Alone 2”, and now it’s on to “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” The old movies that are on now are a lot of my favorites.
