Electric Blue! How bout you! I love electric blue no matter what season it is. But I’m getting excited because it’s cool out, and it’s starting to feel like sweater weather.
Even though fall is in the air, I still like to add a pop of color regardless of the season, and here’s a great example of how to do that.
I chose this amazing electric blue sweater because it is lighter-weight while also being warm but not scratchy, just having 5% wool. It’s a shorter sweater, so I’ve half-tucked it to emphasize my waist. The sleeves are seamless, which makes it more slouchy and more of a comfortable fit. It would go great with a pair of jeans and over-the-knee boots, or you could wear a blouse beneath it and wear a relaxed pair of denim with loafers. This sweater will be a great go-to as we move more into the colder months.
I’ve paired it here with this subtle grey pattered, a-line skirt, which is an excellent choice for all body types! If you are straight built it plays up some curves, and if you’re curvy it emphasizes your smaller waist. The plaid in the skirt works as a neutral, which can be paired with so many options. It’s a timeless piece that will be a must-have for any closet.
To accessorize this outfit I went with a longer pendant necklace and black dangle earrings. I put the textured tights/hose with polkadots, and then added the round shades to finish the look. The shoes were an obvious choice, because who doesn’t love a classic black patent pump?
So here’s to you! Are you thinking about blue?
