Easter Maxi

Easter is this weekend!

Time has flown by since Matt first entered the hospital, and now we’ve already been home over 2 weeks. It’s a blur. He’s doing so well, and we’re so very thankful.

I really didn’t know what Easter would look like this year, but I’m thrilled we’re going to try and go to a service and then have almost all our family come by our house to celebrate. Easter is such a wonderful celebration, and it’s going to make everything get closer to normal.

Our grandchildren are smelling those vinegar smells tonight as they paint their eggs, and I know they’re wondering what they’ll find in their Easter baskets It’ll be wonderful to see our community at church tomorrow. We’ve really missed being there and especially serving as volunteers, but the last few weeks have been doozies.

I’ve been living in workout clothes, but my Easter attire will be this Maxi Skirt from Anthropologie designed by Jyoti Sharma, whose line is called Bhanuni by Jyoti. She mixes her love of her Indian culture with a blend of contemporary colorful features in each one of her prints. I’m really fond of the cut on this skirt and that it’s easy to wear. I think you will be really surprised at how flattering it is for any body type. And it comes in a petite size too. These skirts are just flawless in their elegance and subtle pleats. I love how the detail around the waistband accentuates the waistline, giving a wonderful light and flowy look.

I paired this skirt with light blue and white striped button up blouse. This blouse has a slouchy cut and will definitely be on repeat with my khaki pants, skirt and or shorts. I’m also looking to put this blouse with a pair of draw string, wide legged linen trousers that I’ve had for years. Not to mention, this top will work with all my denim in my closet too.

The rose gold sandals have been part of my shoe collection for a few years. A little metallic sandal is easy and can elevate a look so effortlessly. I’m glad to see that rose gold is still in this season.

I threw in the orange bag for fun, because it’s Easter and for me this holiday has always been full of color!
