Hope you had a great weekend! The weather has cooled off here in Atlanta! That means boots, jackets, scarves, sweaters, hats and lots of layers. I’m a cold-natured gal, or as my husband would say, I have a 2 degree comfort zone. I’m quite excited to be able to pull out two items I had been sitting on, because the darn temperature has been so hot here.
So here you go…..these Vince Camuto “Melaya” Over the knee boots are on sale here. I paired them with my old standby classic white v-neck tee, dark skinny jeans and this bomber jacket. This bomber jacket, even though it’s fairly new, is somewhat sentimental. My dad wore this same type of jacket while he was in the Air Force. His had lots of decorations and patches, but it was the same olive green with bright orange lining. I have fond memories of Daddy walking in with that jacket on when I was a child. Isn’t it wonderful how clothes (like smells or songs) can transport you back to an earlier time in your life? And speaking of clothes, smells and songs, this lady is going to experience all three, as I’m headed to the white sandy beaches of the gulf. The beautiful cooler fall weather will be waiting for me when I return.
