The days are getting longer, and hopefully they will begin to get warmer. I feel as if the weather has been teasing us here in Atlanta lately. We’ll have a warmer couple of days, which raises my spirits as well as the bulbs planted in my yard. I just love Spring flowers! The daffodils are beginning to peek out in my flowerbeds; little bits of green can be seen. Then we have had some rain, which we are always thankful for to get everything watered and ready to grow. Sounds like Spring, right? Well not here…. it’s as if someone has hit the restart button and back to the cold temperatures we go. So for me, the best way to combat the crazy weather emotional highs and lows is with a little color! That’s when I go to my closet and grab a printed blouse and a bright leather jacket. This blouse is a paisley print and has all this fun color. The collar on this blouse is a “Peter Pan” type and gives the blouse a little retro look. This leather jacket has been around for 15 years or more. It is from my good ole days of working for Gap, and its classic denim jacket cut will be here for years to come. I have found several other jackets in this color that are trending for this Spring and have placed them down below for you to check out. When I was choosing what type of pants I wanted to put with this, I wanted comfort, and that for me is always a pair of denim. This vintage denim is from JCrew. They are a cropped straight leg and fit through the hip and thighs with a frayed hemline. The bright pink accessories balance out the vivid teal jacket, and the socks were added to my cold feet for warmth. I also liked the stripes in the socks, because it added more texture to the look.
