The city of Atlanta is full of color and lots of art, as well as museums, CNN, World of Coke, Fernbank, the Aquarium and so much more. But you don’t necessarily have to go to one of the above places to see the art and colors of this cool city. There are magnificent murals, graffiti and street art that dot the landscape all throughout the city.
When I was in New York City a couple months ago, I had opportunity to shoot some of the wonderful murals and graffiti in that city. I shot at those places with a wonderful and talented photographer, Denton Taylor, here.
So naturally coming back to Atlanta, I decided I wanted to shoot some of what Atlanta has to offer as far as art, graffiti, and murals. So we headed down to the beltline (that long walking path) that winds throughout the city of Atlanta. And here’s what I got.
It was exciting day to look at all the colorful murals. I love my city and exploring its art whereever I find it!
