Checkin it Out

Today was just a beautiful day!  We’ve had a lot of rain lately, but the next few days are supposed to be gorgeous.  You know those kind of days – crisp, absolutely brilliant blue sky – everything was perfect.  You can go from inside to outside, and the temperature is the same.  Just phenomenal – days like today make everything brighter, everything cleaner, everything more interesting.

I was also excited to head into Atlanta today to an area called Inman Park, not to mention to meet up with a new photographer to help me capture the beautiful views in this lovely little city neighborhood.  She couldn’t have been more fun to be with and to work with, and we had a blast exploring the little restaurants, the shops, and of course hit the Beltline.

Not only did we get to check out Inman Park, but I got to wear today’s OOTD, which is full of Gingham Checks, so today was day of Checkin It Out!

The cropped capris I’ve had for a couple years, and I’ve worn them with solid bright colored tops, a classic white poplin blouse, chambray button up and even a floral tee. Today I decided I’d wear double check, and I really am pleased at the way it turned out. It kind of looks like an optical illusion in the pictures with the smaller check for the top and larger check for the bottom, but it works.

The necklace added just the right amount of color to the outfit. I threw in the straw bag at the last minute for some more texture.

I finished the day with a delicious meal at Pure Taqueria. Margarita and cheese dip, yes please.

Not a bad way to end the day and head into the weekend!
