This bomber jacket came in quite handy last night as we took the kids out Trick or Treating! It did double duty as it kept me warm and was a great costume for Halloween. The faux fur is so soft, and the kids kept wanting to touch the fur and pet me.
Last year I purchased an olive green bomber jacket (here) and enjoyed wearing it well into spring. So when I chose this Leopard bomber, I was doubly excited, because it was much dressier then last years choice. It’s a lovely addition to wear with a LBD, dress trouser or my favorite…..denim. I also am a big fan of animal print anything (here), it just brings great texture to any outfit.
Bomber jackets are coming in so many different ways from florals, to fur and back to the classic black. The olive color I’m really partial to, because my dad used to wear one that color when he flew in the Air Force. My mind goes back to when I was a kid seeing him coming in the door every evening with that green flight jacket (what he called it) on.
This outfit was more for the warmth, because it was going to be chilly. It was 42 degrees last night. I’m sure you are rolling your eyes and thinking that’s not cold at all, but for me it was a bit cool. Can you tell I’m not a big fan of cold weather? My husband claims there is a 1 degree difference in my internal thermostat.
What can I say?
Well, I can say if you’re a fan of the bomber like me, I’m giving you some wonderful choices down below! And then you all can tell me what you think.
Now that sounds like a plan, so bombs away!
