A Blustery day is when the wind’s blowing through your hair, and the smell of fall is in the air! Finally the temperatures are starting to lower here in Atlanta. I hate that it took hurricane Michael to lower the temperature here. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone down in Mexico Beach and the surrounding areas with the devastation that occurred there.
After the storm blew through, it was definitely cooler temps here in the mid-70s which is great weather to get out and walk or just get out and about. It’s also so easy to exercise outside. It really was so hot that during the last month, I was getting up early to try and beat the heat.
I also couldn’t even think about wearing anything dark during the heat.
I hope this isn’t the last time I get to wear a scarf, camisole and cropped denim this season. It is perfect outside to do just about anything. If it could stay this way all the time, I’d be the happiest woman in the world.
Speaking of being the happiest woman in the world, I was that lady this week!
My parents celebrated their 59th wedding Anniversary on October 10th. I can’t express to all how extremely blessed I am to have them a few miles from me. This is nothing I take lightly or for granted. They have lived near me the last 13 years. I have been so thankful to see them live out what they believe and love others unconditionally. They make me so happy, and I love that they are able to have such an impact on not only our family, but on everyone they come in contact with.
What are the things your are thankful for? Count your blessings!
