Choosing the Best Clothes to Workout In
Workout clothes don’t have to be expensive, but they definitely should be comfortable and breathable. That means you need to stick to workout clothes made of stretch and moisture-wicking fabrics like Polyester, Merino Wool, Wool, Polypropylene, Spandex, Bamboo, Nylon and Acrylic. Moisture-wicking fabric helps move water from close to your body to the exterior of the fabric where it will evaporate. I usually feel cooler and drier than when I wear with moisture-absorbing material like cotton.
Basically, moisture-wicking fabric will keep you dry even when you are doing a lot of athletic activity and sweating up a storm. When shopping for workout clothes, its’s also good to look for materials that won’t stick to sweaty skin and prevent chafing. My thighs have chaffed a few times before and let me tell you it’s not a fun feeling when your skin gets irritated from the material rubbing against it.
