Graphic tees are a staple in my wardrobe all year round, but this one I’m especially fond of. Did you notice my graphic tee here? The colors on this one are what grabbed me at first, the bright pink and coral. Then I saw these cute succulents on it.
I love succulents. They are the one plant I can keep alive. I have a little table full of them in my kitchen. I started out with a few tiny clay pots lined up across my window sill above my kitchen sink. In each little clay pot was a tiny succulent. I purchased them last year during the summer and grew to love them during the winter. It gave me such a good feeling seeing something green and living as I looked out my kitchen window during the winter. Instead of seeing everything dormant and dead, these little plants reminded me of new life. I was also proud of the fact they were surviving and thriving during the winter – something I can struggle with during those gloomy and cold overcast days.
Graphic tees give my wardrobe that extra punch as well. They can be worn the “ole school way” with a pair of cut offs and flip-flops. (Mind you, this was my favorite way to wear them growing up!) Now, however, the graphic tee has evolved into something much more. New or vintage, these fabulous tees can be worn with a silk or pleated skirt with trainers or wedges, take your pick! Then you can style this top with a classic suit, breaking down that stereotypical business wear into something fun and unassuming.
I always have my eyes peeled for fun, different or unusual tees! Makes no difference whether I’m thrifting, running errands or just casually browsing, I’m looking. They can be worn 365 days a year.
