Aces

Aces!…….. that’s the way I felt as I left COS. I’m loving these pieces I picked up at the new store located at Shops Buckhead Atlanta. The way these cropped wide-leg trousers feel on are wonderful.  These high-waisted trousers/culottes have an offset, diagonal front fasten, which gives them an architectural feel. They also have pockets hidden in the side seam.  Today I wore them with this melon-colored top, (also from COS) that has a 3/4” sleeve. This top hits about 6 inches past my natural waistline. It has no buttons, zippers or hooks. It’s so easy to wear this line, and I just love the structure in the design. I found that I really liked a lot of the pieces, but not everything fit me as I would have preferred.  I was very pleased with the selection! It’s also so nice to not have to do any type of alteration.

The trouser in Khaki is a size 2, which is quite unusual for me, I’m normally a size 4-6. These trousers are fitted in the waist and full through my problem area, hips and thighs. The weight in the fabric is also nice for year round wear. They will look lovely with a white button down, tucked in, and also an oversized sweater in the Fall with a cute pair of booties. I can’t wait to show you other ways to wear these trousers and top.
