My favorite sale of the year is here- the 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!! I’ve rounded up my favorite picks from the sale and I am so excited to share them with you! The sale started for NORDY members on July 12, and it’s open to the public July 28!! Don’t wait- items are going FAST! Shop them directly from the pictures below!!
JACKETS
I have always noticed that people with the most interesting wardrobes have a mix of trendy, classic, and chic clothing. These jackets are a perfect example of that! Most of these jackets I picked out have a classic cut to them with either a neutral or a pop of color. Fleece is going to be big this year and it is something great to have as a staple piece. I think it is really fun to have classic cuts like these but with a current twist to keep it interesting.
DRESSES
Dresses that fit your body well can be really hard to find. These dresses I picked flatter all body types in some way. I really am into bright bold colors, especially for the Summer and more neutral cool tones for the Winter. I have been really drawn to shoulder cut outs on classic fits and how it makes a piece more interesting to look at immediately. Something I have always been a fan of is how versatile dresses are and how you can really customize a dress with either a sweater, coat, or even accessories.
TOPS
I love some of these big bulky sweaters to layer over dresses for Fall or Winter. It is such a good way to keep warm yet still look stylish. Most of these tops I picked are a neutral color but I love a design like abstract that has multiple pops of color!
BOTTOMS
I think leather is always a staple in a wardrobe. There is so much you can style with it! I especially love these leather skirts I picked out that go past the knee. Jeans that fit well are always such a hard thing to find. I love jeans that go up to the waist and either have a straight or wide leg flare to them. They never go out of style! I think Spanx are underrated because they instantly give a seamless look beneath your pants and have no creases!
SHOES
Shoes are something that are so important because they can complete an outfit instantly. Military boots are definitely making a comeback this season and can be paired with formal or causal wear which makes them so unique. I love also a point shoe because it can create an illusion that are you taller and draws attention to the rest of your outfit. Metallic sneakers can be so fun because the sparkles are dazzling yet feminine while creating a casual look. I really love textures and shapes in general, and who says they can’t be in shoes!? Some of the shoes I picked out have big bold straps on them and some have geometrical shaped heels!
2021 NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE ESSENTIALS
Purses and beauty can be a really personal statement but I feel as though I picked out some that everyone can like! I chose some classic shaped purses that are neutral tones and some with a big pop of color! These accessories can be really great to instantly spruce up any outfit. The belt I picked out is really nice for tying around dresses and layering them. A belt like this is definitely an essential accessory to give the illusion of a cinched waist. For beauty I picked out some luxury makeup, skincare, and hair products that anyone can use. For the mature women these products are basic self-care necessities!
